Órlaith is originally from Ireland but lived abroad for many years, in Japan and then the United States. She received her undergraduate degree in Zoology from Trinity College Dublin, her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Edinburgh, and a Masters in Public Health from Yale University. On completing her Veterinary studies in 2013, she then spent several years in small animal practice in Connecticut and in New York City before returning to Dublin in April 2022 when she joined Ark Vetcare.
In her spare time, Órlaith enjoys the outdoors; particularly hiking, skiing, and most recently has taken up sailing.
