Merry Christmas everyone! Not long until the big day now……
As we know well, our pets can have an accidents or emergencies at any time and we are committed to being here for them over this Christmas – as we are every year. We are delighted to be able to let you know that we are providing a full Christmas service throughout the Season.
Every single day we will be open for our clients except on Christmas Day when we will only be open behind the scenes, taking care of our hospitalised patients who are recovering from surgery and looking after the cats staying in our cattery. Of course, all cats will be getting a delicious Christmas lunch of prawns and smoked salmon!!
So, Christmas Day is the only day in the whole year where we will not be open for appointments. In case of an emergency on Christmas Day please call 01 2802041.
Our promise to you is that we will remain the vet in Dublin with the most extensive opening hours across the whole year – including Christmas.

Booking Your Vet Appointment During Christmas
As we are the only vet in Dublin to maintain such extensive opening hours during Christmas, we have to be very organised and proactive when it comes to scheduling our bookings. We would please ask you to either book online in advance or call us early on the day you intend to visit if you don’t have an appointment booked so we can see as many patients as possible.
Merry Christmas from Ark Vet
From everyone at Ark Vetcare we would like to wish you, your family and of course all the lovely pets out there that we care for – a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
During the Christmas period the weather obviously becomes colder and harsher, we also have lots of extra food, decorations and presents in our houses. All of these can cause injuries to our pets, so with that in mind we have prepared two seasonal articles that you might like to read; these have been written to help to keep your pets nice and safe throughout Christmas….

Of course, if you do get any new additions to your family don’t forget to bring them along for a check-up in the New Year and make sure they are fit and healthy. Looking forward to welcoming you to our practice in 2019 – hard to believe we are almost there already!
