Emergency Service – What to do if your pet has an Accident?
From the 25th of November onwards if you have any unfortunate accidents or emergencies on a Sunday please contact our Foxrock clinic on 01-2895335 for immediate assistance. Monday to Saturday please contact the clinic you usually attend.
Why are we making the change?
We continue to be committed to keeping our promise that we will only close one day of the year – Christmas Day. We pride ourselves on being the practice with the most extensive opening hours and we want to be available to provide your pet with the best care – when it’s needed.
We are making these small adjustments because we believe it will benefit clients. The Foxrock Veterinary hospital is easy to get to and it is the practice that is the most geographically central, between our 3 locations. If an emergency happens, we want our patients to be able to get to us as soon as possible and this change will allow for that.
We also have some very exciting plans in place for Dun Laoghaire….. You’ll have to watch this space for updates….
A bit about our Foxrock Veterinary Hospital.
Our branch on Kill Lane has received Veterinary Hospital Accreditation from the Veterinary Council of Ireland (VCI).
It is a purpose-built eco-friendly building and was constructed in 2008/2009. As a passive building the internal temperature is always maintained at 18° C which is the optimum temperature for providing care for your pet.
To work in tandem with these treatment suites, we have a full pharmacy and in-house laboratory in Foxrock to complete tests and examinations. This enables us to assess the situation and get to the root cause of the problem in the quickest time possible so that the necessary treatment can begin.
To make the transition as seamless as possible the new Sunday service in Foxrock will be staffed and run by a combination of our Foxrock, Dun Laoghaire and Kilmacud teams so you will more-than-likely see a familiar face on Sundays and Bank Holidays when you arrive.
I’ve Still Got Some Questions
If you have any questions in relation to these changes or any other matters, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us.
